East York Strategy
Outdoor Worship Service
June 10, 2007

This special community service, held at East York Collegiate High School on June 10, 2007 was open to everyone, and featured uplifting music, creative moments, meaningful prayers, and a message of PEACE for all.  We heard an inspirational faith-story from former Canadian Olympic athlete Susan Stewart. The Service was hosted by “East York Strategy” -- a year-old initiative led by a cooperative of local Christian churches including 17 different local churches.

East York Strategy churches and partners are rising up to reduce crime and create good in our neighbourhood.  We have established positive partnerships with local schools, police, politicians, businesses, other faiths, and many others in order to give our youth the hope and help they need.
